Founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci in Florence, the brand drew inspiration from his time at London’s Savoy Hotel. Under his son Aldo, Gucci gained global fame, with its iconic double-G logo and red-green stripe. Jackie Kennedy toted a Gucci purse and Grace Kelly one of the brands bamboo bags.
